It's free of gluten, GMO's, synthetic additives and its dairy free.
All local orders are delivered on Saturdays between 10:00am - 2:00pm unless agreed otherwise. You will receive a text message or call to confirm delivery time. All gelled sea moss is carefully packaged with cushioned bubble wrapping and packing peanuts and shipped in an insulated storage bag with ice packs. Once your order has been made you will receive an email confirmation. Remember products are made to order. Processing takes up to 2-3 days. You will receive tracking information once product has shipped. The shipping process may take 2-5 business days. Sea moss must be refrigerated! Please make sure to do so immediately when it arrives. Sea moss is a rich source of iodine and it is suggested that if you have a thyroid condition you be mindful of your consumption if taking medication with iodine in it. Sea moss contains Vitamin K and is a natural blood thinner. Do not consume if you're taking blood thinners. Consult your physician before use if on medication.
How do I use Sea Moss?
In the gelled form you can add a spoonful to your smoothies, warm teas, soups, sauces, oatmeal, applesauce, warm water or your food of choice. Or if the texture doesn't bother you just take it by the spoonful. Sea moss can also be applied to the hair as a conditioner. Leave on the hair 30 minutes and rinse out. It can be used on the skin as well to help improve blemishes, rashes, burns, eczema and other skin issues.
What does it taste like?
Our gold St. Lucian moss has little to no taste and has many mineralized benefits. Our full spectrum Haitian moss is loaded with minerals and has a slight ocean taste. It has a beautiful blend of colors ranging from gold, purple, to green. When sea moss is blended with bladderwrack the taste is very strong of the ocean but tolerable. The Sea Moss, Burdock and Bladderwrack combination promotes enhanced benefits to the body.
Why is fruit not added?
Fruit shortens the shelf life of Sea Moss. Fruit naturally spoils fast but you can add a tablespoon of Sea Moss to your fruit smoothies instead. We want you to make the most of your purchase and use your Sea Moss up to four weeks without the possibility of it spoiling.
Can Sea Moss gel get contaminated?
Yes. It is important to use a clean spoon every time you dip into your sea moss gel. The mouth has bacteria and double dipping can shorten the shelf life of your gel.
